History

The current Edinburgh Primary School site opened in April 2011 after moving from the Victorian building that previously housed the school. Edinburgh continues its exciting journey from a one form entry to a three form entry school- pupils and staff continue rise to the challenges and changes that this brings with an increasing pupil roll and growing staff team.

For all children to develop socially, emotionally and intellectually enabling them to become successful, lifelong learners.

AIMS

1. To provide a secure and happy learning environment in which everyone shows respect for themselves and for others.

2. To encourage all children to work to their potential enabling them to become learners who are

• Literate, numerate and technologically confident

• Independent, critical thinkers

• Confident and persistent

• Creative and imaginative

• Resilient, ambitious and aspirational

3. To support the development of social and communication skills to allow children to become secure, positive members of the community.
